I`ve only had it three weeks but so far so good. I got the 9.5 version in stiif flex . I had the 2008 Tour Burner and it just didn`t suit at all, this feels totally different to that club.
I can hit this driver straight almost every time and with distance. I can stand on the tee with out of bounds on both sides and feel confident that my drive will be somewhere down the middle.
This is the best driver I have every played. Most people exaggerate how much yardage they gain with new clubs, but I can honestly say that this club has added 20 yards to my drives. I've gone from a 260 yd hitter to 280! Goes straight but is easy to control as well. Great driver!

My friend is happy with the gift the taylormade 09 burner plus driver. he is satisfied with it.
I'm a 23 handicap and had trouble with a hook last year. I picked up this TaylorMade 2009 Burner Driver and at first had an issue getting my contact in the middle of the club face. Hit anywhere on the face and the ball gets at least a decent distance and ends up playable. With some practice I was able to dial ths club in and really hit some great shots. Of the 4 drivers I've ever owned, one other being a great Taylormade, this is the best.
