If you are looking for Silly Long distance and lower ball flight, the Burner 2.0 irons are for you. Exceleent distance, easy to hit long and straight, Great feeling irons when I hit the ball correctly. 20 yards longer than my current irons, but with lower ball flight. The TM TP irons 6 iron has 31* of loft, so the Burner 2.0 irons are built for distance, and it that reguard, they perform wonderfully.

the faces of the Burner 2.0 long-irons are thinner than the faces of the original Burner long-irons, which should help golfers create more ball speed and distance. The weight saved by making the faces thinner has been redistributed to the lower section of the clubs, near the heel and toe areas, which Wahl says should make them more forgiving too

TaylorMade Golf has made quite a good improvement over their previous model of Burner Irons. The balance and feel throughout the set has greatly improved in my opinion, and with the new blackened steel and chromed look their new appearance is quite striking. Along with the new added blackened and chrome finish there seems to be an added and a more durable face finish, as well. Maybe help to keep their good looks awhile longer.

The 2009 Burner irons have received a facelift rather than a complete redesign. The silver face and darker heel and toe finish remains and this frames the ball well and inspires confidence. The sound has definitely been softened, which in turn helps to give an improved feel. Like the previous design the strong lofts and weighting in the head help these clubs fly a long way.

The TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons feature a very forgiving head design that looks better at address than the previous model. The head colour looks great behind the ball.

Very striking product, enhancing the features and benefits of the original model. Very powerful and the ease of use is right up there. The larger head may not suit all, but these irons will help increase distance. The redesigned sole gives a really good feel. Will be a good product for all categories, but more towards the 8 handicaps and above.
