This is the perfect club if you are a low or mid handicap player that wants a little more forgiveness.
The legendary Mizuno fluid feel and sound is unique. No other make can get close to simulating the experience of these forged irons.
The feel.. is a first harsh, but, that is the feed back and as the striking improves, impact is rather mild. I am 57 and have never been more consistent in golf, and I attribute that pretty much to the irons.
Improved my game with Mizuno grain flow forging technology. There is nothing I dislike about these clubs.

The MP-53 is beautiful club, and better yet it is a player's club that an 8 handicap can use to improve his game. I could not be happier.
The forged heads are so forgiving and the shafts has given me yardage back. I like to hit the ball right to left and I am going down a club to get correct distances.
I had them adjusted, as EVERY golfer should do when buying new clubs, and hit the course next day. Boy, they are something else. The legendary Mizuno fluid feel and sound is unique.
They performed perfectly. Felt great coming off the face, easy to move the ball left or right, plenty of feedback on off-center hits, and great sound coming at impact. I'm a 7 handicap and would highly recommend these to any lower handicapper looking for the next generation of Player's irons.

Mizuno MP-53 Irons feel like a dream when you hit them on the sweet spot with great back spin and amazing workability.
The Mizuno MP-53 Irons are simply, great irons. I am hitting so much better, I am getting loads of height and I find that these irons are very forgiving when I do hit one slightly off centre. They are a bit expensive but you get what you pay for...quality.
I have just exchanged my set of MP 30 mizuno irons for a set of Mizuno MP-53 Irons. These are a cavity back club that now allows me to get the ball in the air and straighter.
