The PGA Tour has announced the official money 2010 schedule. About 45 total games running from the week of January 3-9 at the SBS Championship through the week of November 8-14 at the Children's Miracle Network Classic.
The PGA Tour FedEx Cup Season will consist of 37 tournaments ending with the Wyndham Championship the week of August 16-22. Two events will be part of the FedEx Cup points' race for the first time - the inaugural Greenbrier Classic and the Turning Stone Resort Championship, which moves from the Fall Series to the FedEx Cup Season.
The PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedEx Cup will again begin with The Barclays and will be followed in consecutive weeks by the Deutsche Bank Championship and the BMW Championship. Following an off-week, the Tour Championship will conclude the playoffs and determine the FedEx Cup winner.
The broadcast lineup for 2010 is nearly identical to 2009, with a few revisions. The Northern Trust Open and the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship will switch broadcast partners, with NBC showing the NorthernTrust Open and CBS airing the Accenture Match Play Championship.
Golf Channel will broadcast the Waste Management Phoenix Open all four days, while ESPN will air all four rounds of the British Open.
ESPN will broadcast 20 events, 18 use in combination with Golf Channel and one each in with TNT. NBC use will offer 11 broadcasts, 10 with Golf Channel and one with ESPN, while Golf Channel will broadcast 13 events from start to finish, including the entire Fall Series.
